Join the Weekly StepClash Sprint

A seven-day step challenge capped at 25 people per wave. Small enough to feel personal, active enough to make the leaderboard worth checking, and simple enough to start today.

Step 01

Join a Wave

Each sprint wave is capped at 25 members, so your rank stays understandable and the people around you matter.

Step 02

Log Your Steps

Manual logging works, and device syncing can handle the routine once connected. Total weekly steps decide the sprint order.

Step 03

Chase the Gap

StepClash shows how many steps separate you from the person above you, then resets the race the next Monday.

Why it works

A challenge that feels alive.

Most big leaderboards go stale because inactive accounts pile up and the top spot feels unreachable. Weekly Sprint keeps the group tight, the scoreboard fresh, and the next move obvious.

1
Small wavesUp to 25 members per wave keeps your place easy to follow.
2
Clear rankingTotal weekly steps decide the sprint, with simple tie breakers.
3
Built to shareShare the Sprint page with friends. Each person joins the next available wave; joining the same wave is not guaranteed.

Know the rules before you join

A shared weekly window keeps the scoring clear.

Monday through Sunday

The Sprint uses America/Regina time (UTC−06:00). It starts Monday at 00:00 and runs through Sunday. A new weekly window starts the following Monday.

Every recorded step counts

Your total recorded steps dated within the challenge window determine your place. Manual entries and connected-device steps contribute to the same daily record. Don't add the same steps twice.

Joining midweek

You can join an open wave during the week. Your steps already recorded for that Monday–Sunday window count too. Joining later doesn't create a new seven-day period.

Questions about the Sprint

How are tied step totals ranked?

Higher steps today comes first, then more days with recorded steps. If those also match, member ID provides a stable final order.

Do I need Garmin or Fitbit?

No. You can log steps manually. If you connect Garmin or Fitbit, syncing depends on the provider and may not appear immediately. Check the date and daily total before entering steps manually.

What if a wave is full?

StepClash opens additional waves as needed. Your join action selects an available wave. The public counts are a snapshot and can change before you join.

What happens after Sunday?

The challenge ends and its results remain available in past challenges. The next Sprint has a fresh weekly window; open it to join the new race.
