Cookies and device storage
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. StepClash uses sign-in cookies to maintain login for up to thirty days after your last activity and support security. Signing out ends the session. Browser and app storage may also remember preferences and app connection state. The Android app stores an encrypted step-connection credential; disconnect through Android steps to remove the connection.
External services
When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and technical information to help prevent automated abuse. Stripe checkout and connected fitness providers operate their own services and may use their own cookies or storage when you visit or authorize them. External resources loaded by a page can receive your IP address and browser information.
Optional analytics
The public site loads Google Analytics only when you choose Allow Analytics. Your analytics choice is stored in your browser. Choose Essential Only to keep analytics disabled. You can change your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer. Withdrawing permission disables further analytics collection from this page; cookies already stored can be cleared in your browser settings.
Your choices
You can manage or clear cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Blocking or clearing session cookies can sign you out or prevent account features from working. Manage connected fitness permissions through StepClash and your provider. This policy does not represent a consent banner or imply that accepting necessary cookies authorizes optional advertising or tracking.
